La Mollaneta is an organic farm<\/b> located in Elche ( Alicante), very close to the Mediterranean Sea. It’s surrounded by an area with unbeatable conditions for citrus cultivation<\/b>. Situated in the Torrellano Bajo district, the farm spans 18 hectares<\/b>.<\/p>

After 40 years lying fallow, it was brought back into production in 2019 by Miguel Pastor who had\u00a0 a long-standing family agricultural tradition.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

A 100 years old Demeter certified organic farm <\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In an effort to respect the customs and traditions of yesteryear<\/b>, the farm’s renovation carefully preserved the original trees surrounding the faeneta<\/i> (a typical Elche countryside house). These trees\u2014including pines, date palms, carob trees, and olive trees<\/b>\u2014once provided food and shelter to its inhabitants.<\/p>

The farm is self-sufficient, powered by its own clean energy<\/b>. It boasts traditional groves of the highest quality lemons, oranges, mandarins, and grapefruits<\/b>, alongside unique gourmet citrus varieties<\/b>. These include kumquat, citrus caviar, lime, limequat, and Buddha’s hand<\/b>, all holding biodynamic certification from DEMETER<\/b> and European organic certification from CAECV<\/b>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
